Got Yamaha rayzr 125 to explore meghalaya for 4 days. I went with my wife in this two wheeler and explored mawphlang, Sorah, mawlynnong, dawki , shillong that includes off track, mountainous paths with steep ascending and descending slope. Fortunately the vehicle was absolutely in it's perfect shape that I was able to manoeuvre in all conditions even in rain. Really grateful for the vehicle and it's good maintenance so that both me and my wife were able to drive Alternatively. Overall It was efficient and cost effective.best way to explore meghalaya. I hired scooters for 7days in phantom bike rental, it was in best condition, best service provided. And I even dropped the Vechile, and I was given explanations on the cost to repair it, and they were friendly in dealing it, 5star for sure

Solid 5-star service, can easily recommend for your two-wheeler needs in Shillong. Picked the scooter up in minutes, got quoted a fair price right away and received a more thorough briefing than ever before in India :) Oh, and the scooter was pretty new as well - both mirrors intact, fuel gauge and speedometer all working - exception rather than the case in India.
Later we booked our taxi back to Guwahati as well via him :)

If you are looking to navigate the winding "jalebi" roads of Shillong without the usual rental headaches, Sujoy and his family are the answer. We opted for their Yamaha 125, and it proved to be an absolute mountain goat in disguise.
The Machine:
The scooty was in pristine condition, boasting a road grip that would put a mountain climber to shame. From the mist-covered cliffs of Laitlum to the sacred vibes of Mawphlang, it handled the treacherous curves with the grace of a ballerina and the mileage of a marathon runner.
The "Sujoy" Factor:
In an industry where paperwork usually weighs more than the vehicle, Sujoy is a breath of fresh air. Soft-spoken and remarkably efficient, he believes in minimalist formalities and maximum trust. He started us off with a generous tank of fuel, a gesture we were more than happy to reciprocate upon return.
A Family Affair:
The logistics were handled with typical Indian domestic charm. On our final day, Sujoy was busy with his academics (College) and his brother was busy with his aesthetics (Gym), so their sister gracefully stepped in to handle the handover.
Overall experience was like borrowing a scooty from a well-mannered cousin.

We had a great experience renting bike from Phantom. We rented a Yamaha Ray125 for 4 days. It was a new 4 month old bike with just 5k kms on it. The renting process was like a breeze, hassle free and Sujoy was extremely friendly and helpful.
Added advantage is, we also left our luggage with him (for a little fee).
Overall I highly recommend his place for renting bike in Shillong.
